Keith Rosen


Keith is a research historian, and a semiretired professor of history with Houston Community College. He has three collegiate degrees. His teaching career began in 1981. He founded Jewish Tours of Houston in 2000 and led about 12 tours that year. It expanded into Houston Historical Tours, in 2002. In 2003, the Greater Houston Convention and Visitor’s Bureau (GHCVB) chose Keith as the master tour guide for his multicultural tours.

In 2007, Keith was appointed to the Harris County Historical Commission. Houston Historical Tours leads tours throughout Texas, Louisiana, and other states. In 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014, Keith’s company led over 300 tours annually. His company offers over 100 tours. You will be inundated with information about history, culture, demography, climate, geography, government, economics, and dry humor on any tour. He has conducted over 2,000 tours for over 12,000 people.

He has been featured in the Houston Chronicle, USA Today, and several newspapers internationally. He has been a guest on local radio and television community service programs and a featured guest speaker for several groups and functions.
